12-18 years old

Children aged 12 to 18 who do not speak Dutch will be placed in an international bridge class, called the Internationale Schakelklas (ISK). The ISK offers full-time education, with the main goal of preparing students to transition into regular Dutch-speaking classes.

In Amstelveen, there are two ISK schools:
Futuris for children aged 12 to 16 years old. It is not possible for a child to enroll at this school if they have already been living in the Netherlands for more than two years.
Nova College for children aged 16 and over.
